π Introducing The Floricult Garden Club! π
a monthly moment to figure out "what should i be doing right now?!" and learn new things
Hello dear readers! π
This summer, I created Weekly Office Hours as a way to talk personally (virtually!) about our gardens and answer questions, troubleshoot, and do research together. It has been so fun, but it is time to evolve! (Real talk: I overdid it with a weekly concept and need to scale back for all our sakes β Classic Laurenβ’.)
I am making two changes:
Office Hours will be shifting to The Floricult Garden Club! Rather than βopen hours,β I will be programming it to be more like an educational garden class with time to chat and ask questions.
It will happen on the 1st every month at 7pm EST.
My Garden Club Dreams!
You know those moments where youβve finally shoved your whole life into a ziplock bag and tucked it the back of your brain for 45 minutes, long enough to focus on something you LOVE and have been WAITING to get caught up on, and you feel a swell of achievement, relief, and excitement?
I love that moment, and I want The Garden Club to create millions of those moments.
You know those other moments where you realize you have to wait an ENTIRE YEAR AGAIN to do something youβve wanted in your garden because life was busy and you just didnβt realize when something needed to be done?
I hate that moment, and I want The Garden Club to eliminate millions of those moments.
Many of you know I created a free Monthly Maintenance Calendar to help answer βwhat do I do this month in my garden?!β β which is great, but it also begets several questions about how best to do those activities or plant those things. During monthly Garden Club, I would like to help answer them and facilitate knowledge sharing among our very fun group of readers.
Many of you are trying to learn how to garden year-round, and the learning curve is real! I want to help as many people as possible learn how to plan a year-round garden.
What Should You Expect At Garden Club?!
I will present βwhat to do in the garden this monthβ at the beginning of Club!
I will also share what I am planting, buying, harvesting, or working on that month!
You can stay on mute the whole time, listen, take notes, and use it as dedicated working time to do your planning!
You can also ask questions, share ideas, or submit your troubles to the room for solutions!
I think this will be great so I am using lots of !!!!!
How To Join The Garden Club
If you are not a paid subscriber yet, please join below and you will receive an email with instructions on how to add the virtual meeting invites to your calendar!
If you are already a paid subscriber, these virtual meetings are already available to you! You can find them here.
I am really looking forward to this as a much more effective way to put something on the calendar that helps us navigate a full garden year together, and of course β the weekly newsletter remains free for all.
If you are tired of reading articles and google searching β or are always wondering, βwhat should I be doing out there right now?β β come join us! I would love to get to know you and help support your growing. ππΌ

So excited for Garden Club! 7 PM EST works better for me. Will you be recording the meetings so that if we can't make it we can watch at a later time?
